Olbermann and Maddow: Living In Their Own Kookville

Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann seemed to be delighting in their infantile understanding of the situation in Iraq and across the Middle East. In this colliquy, these two “experts” never discuss any ramifications of leaving Iraq immediately. They do not discuss Obama’s changing position on when to leave. They never state that Obama believes that 50,000 service personnel will be left in Iraq. Maddow and Olbermann ignore the success of the past several months.

Could Keith Olbermann even begin to believe his own ludicrous statement that “The purpose of the War in Iraq is to maintain a war in Iraq??” Don’t forget to check out the Olbermann Watch.

  1. Keith has lost any and all credibility at this point……The self-righteous indignation, the softball interviews with like-minded pundits, never once acknowledging the existence of another point of view….The constant denigration of a war hero…….I’m an Independent who respects Barack Obama and John McCain….I am admittedly voting for McCain based on his experience and resume….However, while I am not voting to elect Obama in 2008, I could very well vote to re-elect him in 2012……He has incredible potential as a leader and is a first-class communicator….I just don’t know if he’s ready yet……Unlike Keith, I can examine these two candidates objectively……

  2. Ok….so Keith is interviewing comedian Richard Lewis tonight….That should be insightful…..Keith will fake laugh and Richard will go off on mindless tangents about his prostate or some other neurotic diatribe……..Yeah…that’s an interview Edward R. Murrow would do…..This is just asinine…….

  3. Olbytard never had any credibility to lose to begin with. Add in the fact Obama supported the bill that gave immunity to telecoms a point Olbytard beat over the head of GW night after night.

These two are morons. Just like Pelosi. They think they can walk up to a terroristwith a smile and they can win them over.

  4. Field Marshall Rachel Maddow asserts to Command Sergeant Major Keif Olbermoronn: “The U.S. military” says “we should or need to leave” Iraq now. When did “the U.S. military” say that?

  5. Maddow is the Rosie O’Donnell of talk radio, MSNBC, and the Olbermann nightly liberal, love-in. Maddow has big issues!

  6. [...] July 23, 2008 · No Comments In a searing editorial today, the Washington Post takes Barack Obama to task for his simplisitc and misguided view of the situation in Iraq. The Post also corrects the record and straightens out common misunderstandings about Obama’s position and its relevance to reality. It also rightly points out that Al-Maliki has a history of misleading statements that do not always translate well. Memo to Rachel Maddow: get a little more education when you try to speak about the situation in Iraq. [...]
