Tony Snow Dead at Age 53

Fromer White House Press Secretary and Host of Fox News Sunday, Tony Snow died this morning about 2am from complications related to his cancer. I first remember hearing Tony Snow as a substitute for Rush Limbaugh on Rush’s great daily radio broadcast. Tony was a first-class press secretary and had several well-known dust-ups with the press corps. While he was no liberal, Tony was well-respected among all sides in Washington. From the time I heard Tony Snow substitute for Rush Limbaugh, I knew he was a remarkable journalist. He has been an excellent White House Press Secretary. President Bush and the nation will miss Tony Snow, but my guess is that the Republican party and conservatives will be hearing and seeing a lot of Snow.
