Pelosi Whining To Her Friends in the Media

July 18, 2008 · No Comments

Nancy Pelosi spews liberal talking points while pandering to the left-wing base. Also, she refuses to allow that more drilling could be one solution to the current energy/oil issues facing our nation. Pelosi’s characterization of President Bush is extremely bitter. I am ashamed that she is considered to be one of the leaders of our nation. Others on this topic Hot Air, Ann Coulter, Dallas South.

Another Stupid Controversy at “The View”

July 17, 2008 · No Comments

The women of “The View” engage in some of the most inane banter anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Sherri and Whoppi try to lecture others on what they are allowed to say. “The View” permits-even encourages-the loud mouth liberals (there are four) to shout down any view that isn’t leftist, socialist, psychobabble. Appalling.

Estelle Parsons plays Broadway Again

July 17, 2008 · No Comments

Estelle Parsons was magnificient in the 2002 Broadway revival of Paul Osborn’s play, Morning’s At Seven. Ms. Parsons is an actress of great range and dexterity. According to the New York Times she is eighty years old, and play eight shows per week in the 2008 Tony Award Winnning play, “August: Osage County.” Charles Isherwood’s description of this role makes it seem like a tour de force. I’ll be she is just wonderful. And, what a place to be at the age of eighty. Read the whole review…it will make you feel as though you are there to see the show.

A Fiery New Incarnation of a Monster of a Mother

By CHARLES ISHERWOOD

It’s really not a good idea to mess with Violet Weston, the fire-breathing dragon lady of Pawhuska, Okla., who presides over a feast of family combat in “August: Osage County.” As all who have seen Tracy Letts’s celebrated comedy-drama on Broadway no doubt vividly recall, Violet does not brook much interference when it comes to indulging her favorite pastimes.

Raise an objection to that eviscerating commentary on her daughter’s looks and you are likely to find your own being mercilessly dissected. Delicately suggest that she refrain from airing the family’s dirtiest laundry over dinner and you will be subjected to eyebrow-singeing bursts of invective.

Oh, and don’t even think of getting between Violet and the little bottles of pills she pops like Tic Tacs. That would be a sure way to lose a limb.

Violet is a maternal monster on an outrageous scale, but she is also one of the most spellbinding characters in memory to stalk a Broadway stage. So it is good news to report that Estelle Parsons, the venerable actress who has taken over this demanding role from the Tony Award-winning Deanna Dunagan, has had the good sense not to mess with her much. Brit Hume Stepping Down

July 15, 2008 · No Comments

We have previously called Brit Hume the Best Anchor Man in America. He has proven it many times. Unfortunately, it appears that Brit will begin semi-retirement in 2009.

Breaking: TVDecoder reports Brit Hume, 65, will be stepping down as anchor of the network’s 6pmET program Special Report after the election, but will remain with the network. TVDecoder’s Brian Stelter talked with “three people close” to Hume and reports:

Mr. Hume, 65, has expressed an interest in “reducing his role” but will likely remain with Fox News as a panelist on “Fox News Sunday,” two of the people said. The people requested anonymity due to the sensitive nature of his contract negotiations, which are ongoing.

Babs Boxer is a Fool

July 15, 2008 · No Comments

Babs Boxer is a lying, liberal loser. In this appearance on Hardball with Chris Matthews, she is highly dogmatic, disingenious, and wholly misrepresents what is going on with energy policy in the United States. She is a poor imitation of Jimmy Carter. You should be able to follow the link to the video, or look in the sidebar here at Thespis journal and see Babs in the featured video section.

These liberal democrats never want the United States to drill for more oil. If we had started drilling when Jimmy Carter was President thirty years ago, we might not be in this situation today at all. Why must it take ten years for these new oil reserves to impact the price of gas and heating oil? We are the United States of America. We made it to the moon in less time. It is past time for the United States to get serious about having enough oil to sustain more of our own needs. Babs Boxer and Diane Fienstein are not the ones to lead America forward in this situation.

Maddow and Alter: Fools Worthy of the name Olbermann

July 14, 2008 · 5 Comments

Update: You may have to watch the video here. It’s worth it…Rachel is at her moonbattiest. Alter and Maddow lecture the rest of the media on how to do their jobs. WOW!

Rachel Maddow (ubiquitous moonbat on Keith Olbermann’s daily tirade) and Jonathon Alter are the epitome of the effete, elite liberal media. Maddow and Alter had a liberal love-in on Monday night’s show. They tried to make the cover of the New Yorker the fault of conservatives. You have to hear Alter’s comment saying that if the outrageous cover were on a conservative magazine, that conservatives would laugh. Of course these two high-brow hussey’s have to condescend to the rest of the country.

The New Yorker cover is appalling. It was rejected by all common sense conservatives. Just listen for Alter’s snarfy little commentary.
